BOB Services LB respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you control it.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: full name, email, phone, address, city, delivery notes, preferred language.
- Order data: products you order, invoices, shipment tracking, WhatsApp conversation context.
- Technical and usage data: IP-derived security data, browser/device class, page path, language, theme, session identifier, and interaction events. Usage events may include a customer ID when signed in.
2. How we use your data
For account management, fulfilling orders, shipping items, contacting you on WhatsApp/email, handling refunds, preventing misuse, customer support, service analytics, improving our service, and complying with applicable law.
3. Passwords and authentication
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. We do not store, log, or transmit plaintext passwords. Reset tokens are stored as one-way hashes, expire after 60 minutes, and can be used only once. Our team cannot read your password under any circumstance.
4. Sharing
We share data only with: (a) shipping carriers (to label and deliver your parcel); (b) payment processors (to process payment); (c) Lebanese customs (when legally required). We never sell or rent your data.
5. Storage and retention
Data is stored on encrypted servers. Order data is kept for 7 years to comply with Lebanese commercial law. Account data is kept as long as your account is active — you can request deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
- View and edit your data at /account.
- Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Request deletion from the public account deletion page.
7. Cookies
We use functional cookies (to keep you logged in and remember your language). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
