The following items cannot be shipped through BOB Services LB, either because they are restricted by Lebanese customs, by the source country, or by our international carriers.
Absolutely prohibited
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks
- Drugs and illegal substances of any kind
- Counterfeit goods (fake brands)
- Live animals, plants, or unprocessed food items
- Hazardous chemicals, flammable liquids, oxygen tanks
- Items requiring refrigeration during transit
Restricted (require advance approval)
- Lithium batteries — only by air freight under 100Wh per cell, declared at booking
- Cosmetics and perfumes — per-country limits apply, see country pages
- Supplements and vitamins — must have ingredient list in English/Arabic
- Medical devices — require a prescription or registration document
- Electronics over $1,500 declared value — customs declaration required
Country-specific notes
Turkey: Tobacco products and alcohol prohibited. China: No items containing magnets above 50 gauss without prior approval. USA / UK / FR: Knives, blades, and similar items require prior approval and pass through additional screening.
